WELDER- FITTER POSITION

To meet the growing demand for our services we are seeking to hire a full-time, responsible and dependable Fitter-Welder. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient fabrication of structural steel products. We offer a small-to-medium sized company environment which will require close involvement and communication with other team members.

Essential Position Requirements:

  • Ability to fabricate structural products with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to fabricate moderately complex items with supervision.
  • Interpret and apply shop drawing information, including weld symbol designations, with limited assistance.
  • Practice and promote Safety and Housekeeping.
  • Prompt and dependable attendance.
  • Others duties as assigned.

Education & Work Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • One to two years of welding experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.
  • Understand and utilize proper lifting and rigging techniques.
  • General knowledge of equipment and operations including shears, press brakes, plasma cutting operation, sandblasting, flanging, rolling equipment and drills.
  • Understand and follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Effectively operate common layout tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping and stretching
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate welders and other shop equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

CNC OPERATOR

To meet the growing demand for our services we are seeking to hire a full-time, responsible and dependable CNC Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. We offer a small-to-medium sized company environment which will require close involvement and communication with other team members.

Essential Position Requirements:

  • Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.
  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, and cutting operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Education & Work Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two to five years of CNC operating experience.
